MUSIC

Music has been demonstrated to support and enhance a child’s ability to learn and excel in other educational areas, particularly in mathematics. It is an integral part of our curriculum and is compulsory up to Year 8 and offered until Year 12 as an optional subject. Talented students are encouraged to participate in the Reddam Music Academy where they are taught by specialist teachers in instrumental music, voice and choir.

Reddam offers a compulsory instrumental programme from Year 3 to Year 7 allowing students to play an instrument of their choice.

The school boasts multiple bands from concert to rock, choirs, and many Highly-talented soloists and has staged spectacular musicals.
