ACADEMIES
The academy programme operates a wide variety of optional extras and encourages a healthy balance between social participation in extra-curricular activities and competitive discipline.
Offered as part of the school timetable, academies are run by top instructors and coaches who approach each discipline scientifically and holistically, adjusted for each individual participant. This programme caters for those students who have talent and ability, allowing them to train, perform and compete at the highest level possible.
Students may select activities from gymnastics, horse-riding, indoor wall climbing, squash, wind surfing, life saving, sailing, table tennis, art club, chess, computer club, choir, debating, Duke of Edinburgh, entrepreneurial programme, environmental club, first aid, outreach club, photography, public speaking, radio station, stock exchange game, business game, theatre and film club, Red-Cam and wildlife club.
Reddam also offers leisure activities such as scuba-diving, volleyball, hiking, wind-surfing, snow-skiing, martial arts, cycling and climbing.
